There is so much noise out there on college admission. It’s a racket, really. I feel for parents and students navigating this process which seems to get more complex by the day, which is why I’m so passionate about giving families access to good information and ethical best practices on all things college admission.

Let me introduce myself.

I’m Sara Purviance. As an associate director of college counseling at a private high school and mom of three, I’m always looking for ways to simplify processes, help students get to know their real selves, and find educational next steps where they will challenge themselves and thrive. 

I help parents give themselves some grace and support their teens without taking away the ownership and self-efficacy students need for a successful launch to a meaningful college experience, career, and fulfilling life.
